Three Mind Training

Over 2500 years ago Buddha was show his twelve deeds to world. He was born as a royal prince in 264 BC, place called Lumbini, which is part of Nepal. His parent gave him the name Siddhartha. When he was 29 years old, he retreated to the forest where he was follow a spiritual life of meditation. After six years he attended enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Buddha Gaya, in India. Buddha’s teachings are very unique because he taught three mind training moral ethic, concentration and wisdom.
First of all, he taught basic moral ethic. For example, Buddha said “according body, not killing, not stealing and not sexual misconduct”. Not killing, any creature least small ant to biggest elephant not harming their life. Next he taught according speech likely, not lying, not slandering, not harsh speech and not indulging gossip. For instantly, speaking harsh speech destroy other people’s peace mind. Then in addition Buddha taught not craving, not aversion and not wrong view. Craving lead to suffer, so Buddha taught we should avoid craving.
Secondly, moral ethic is very important base of Concentration. The concentration practice needs to abandon five faults and cultivate eight adjustments. The five faults, 1 laziness, 2 forgetting instruction, 3 dullness and agitation, 4 non-application of antidotes, 5 over- application of antidotes. Practice eight antidotes, for five faults. For example, antidotes for laziness a faith on qualities of concentration, wish for concentration, effort for Concentration and suppleness. Antidote for forgetting instruction is mindfulness. Antidote of dullness and agitation is Introspection. When dullness and agitation come to mind, immediately do application antidote. When concentration going very well without dullness and agitation, antidotes are faults so, don’t wonder mind and keep concentrate on equanimity.
Now, third main point is wisdom.    Concentration comes through moral ethic. The wisdom is depending on the concentration. Wisdom is like a very shape sword. Sword cut down trees similarly wisdom cut the ignorance. Example, wisdom of impermanent cut wrong thought; apprehend what is impermanent as permanent. Furthermore, wisdom of suffering is antidote to apprehend what is impure as pure and to apprehend what is miserable as happiness. Wisdom of emptiness and wisdom of selflessness is antidote of to apprehend what is selfless as having a self.
Finally, who wants free from suffering have to first keep cherish moral ethic and add firmly concentration can develop profound  and dipper wisdoms.
